What are crowdfunding campaigns?
Crowdfunding campaigns give you the chance to show your Pioneer spirit by supporting projects led by students, faculty, and staff at Cal State East Bay. These campaigns typically run for 1–2 weeks and empower campus groups to take fundraising into their own hands, connect directly with their communities, and inspire meaningful support.

Why should I give to a crowdfunding campaign?
Every gift fuels student success and strengthens the people and programs that make a difference at Cal State East Bay and beyond. When alumni, students, families, faculty, staff, and friends come together to support a campaign, the impact grows—expanding opportunities for learning, innovation, and community engagement.
Do crowdfunding gifts count as a Senior Class Gift?
Yes! Graduating seniors who give can count their contribution as part of the Senior Class Gift. At checkout, note that you’re a current student and include your expected graduation year. With a gift of your class year ($20.26) or more to any campaign, you’ll qualify to receive a Pioneer Spirit Cord to wear at commencement.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes. The minimum is $5. This safeguard helps protect the giving platform and ensures processing time is dedicated to real contributions that support our students.
How to Give
Can I give more than once or to more than one campaign?
Absolutely. Your impact multiplies when you support more than one project. Use the “Make a Gift” button at the top of the page to choose more than one campaign during checkout.

What if I have trouble with my credit card transaction?
Most errors happen when the billing address doesn’t match the one on file with your bank.
If your transaction doesn’t go through, you won’t be charged and can try again. Successful transactions generate an email receipt. Please check your inbox.

Can I write a check?
The fastest way to give is online from the campaign page or by clicking the “Make a Gift” button at the top of the site. Gifts are tracked in real time so you can see the momentum building.

Not all campus programs participate in crowdfunding. To make a gift to a program that isn't participating, you can give with the everyday giving form button below or give by check.
